When I write, I write for readers no matter their position on the existence of God. As a result, I do not use religious language. What I write emerges from the common humanity we all share without reference to a particular belief system. I most often write using the language of the natural world, the language of Science, Philosophy, Mystery, Adventure, Relationships between and among people, I talk about feelings and motivations, wonder, joy and pain, what I perceive as actually living, not simply watching life from a distance. What I experience is a magnificent Universe filled with endless discoveries to be made. For those whose worldview includes a God, the magnificence simply expands the power and majesty of that God. For those whose worldview has no religious component the magnificence of the Universe is enough without it. I have essentially erased the line between the two. I have let a Dualistic understanding of reality drift away and out of view. I have created my own Unified Theory of the Universe. Whatever our divergent worldviews, whatever or whomever we understand to be our source and sustenance, we are one, we belong to one another. When traveling or staying put, I am driven to make connections with people, discovering both our uniqueness as individuals and the common humanity that binds us together.

I think this is one of my favorite aspects of your work. It makes me feel safe and seen. Thank you
Hi Peter, I heartily recommend the book The Reason is For God, by Pastor Timothy Keller. It spent many weeks on the New York Times Bestseller List. I think you would find it very helpful! Tommy from Lorenz and Trixi's house in Helmsted
